FCDS Students Shine at the Invention Convention


FCDS third, fourth, and fifth graders leaned into our core value of curiosity as they created innovative inventions and shared them at Kaleidium’s annual Invention Convention. Congratulations to the following students for their outstanding inventions!
 
In third grade, Olivia Duggins, Elena Russell, and Juliet Slayton won second place with their invention, The Unexpected Clip.
 
In fourth grade, Jasmine Noureddine and Kate Fowler won first place with their Invention Adjustabottle and will travel to Michigan to compete nationally in June.
 
Fourth grader Malcolm Gregory came in second place with the Dual Macro Desk. He also won the People’s Choice Award.

Lower School Science Specialist Cara Kusnic was thrilled that her students embraced this opportunity. “Our FCDS students were amazing! I am incredibly proud of all of the participants!” she said. Way to go, Furies!
