Head of School Search
Forsyth Country Day School is currently conducting a search for the next Head of School. The board has appointed a Leadership Transition Committee and hired The Education Group to conduct the search.
Nathan Battle is the Interim Head of School through June 30, 2026. The Board expects to name the new Head of School by the end of calendar year 2025.
The Leadership Transition Committee is comprised of Allison Lyerly and Sam Bailor. They will establish hiring criteria, manage the search process, and recommend a candidate for Board approval.

The Education Group is a national search and consulting firm with over 30 years of experience. Our two lead consultants, Bob Veto and Dave Davies, are based in the Triad area and are familiar with the school and our history. Bob and Dave have extensive experience as heads of school at multiple institutions and as head search consultants. Bob and Dave will engage with the FCDS community later this spring and will spend time on campus.
