Congratulations to FCDS Senior Ava Scherer
First, Ava was selected to attend the Summer Leaders Experience (SLE) at the United States Military Academy at West Point. Taught by current cadets, the SLE gives attendees a taste of the character, determination, commitment to excellence, and leadership skills required to become a cadet at West Point.
Next, Ava will attend Governor’s School East for natural sciences at Meredith College in June and July.
“Ava Claire is one of the most curious and responsible members of the Class of 2025. She leans into every opportunity to learn and better herself, whether in academic or leadership pursuits,” Upper School Assistant Director Tamara Harington said.
