In January, 52 Middle School students competed in the American Mathematics Contest 8. The AMC 8 is a 25-question, 40-minute, multiple-choice examination in middle school mathematics designed to promote the development of problem-solving skills. This is a national contest and middle school students from across the country competed.
The school winners are Mia Iancu and Sophie Garcia.

5th Grade - The scores were all very close so there were a lot of ties!

2nd Place: Molly Cavanaugh, Liam Latham & Claire Vail
3rd Place: Eliza Chaudhry, Aaron Stern & Owen White
“I am so proud of all our students who took the leap and chose to compete. Competing in math competitions shows the student's mathematical interest, desire for growth, and willingness to put forth their best effort,” said their advisor Mrs. Charlotte Phillips.
