List of 22 frequently asked questions.

  • 1) How does Tuition Management work?

School charges will be posted to a Tuition Management online account for each family with the ability to access the account electronically to view charges and make payments through the Resources page in OnCampus.

No paper bills in the mail.

Tuition Management will accept payments by ACH and credit card for all tuition and other fees.

Once you select your payment plan and enter your payment method, handling of your monthly payments for tuition and all other fees and charges will be automated.

Email notices will be sent monthly to notify you of upcoming due dates, automatic payments and the amount of charges to be paid. Tuition Management is integrated into the enrollment contract and accessible through your OnCampus login, on the Resources page.
  • 2) How and when do I set up a Tuition Management account? (New Families Only, Returning Families will use their existing Tuition Management accounts)

Tuition Management accounts are set up at the time you enroll your student for the upcoming school year. The first time that you complete an enrollment contract through the school for the next school year you will be prompted to establish your family account. You will be guided through the necessary steps. When enrolling a second student, you will be asked whether you want to set up a separate Tuition Management account for that student. Please select “No” when asked that question. Each family will have one Tuition Management account through which each student’s activity will be accessible separately. Families must choose the same payment plan.
  • 3) Once I have set up my Tuition Management account, how do I log into the account?

Returning Families will continue to login to their existing Tuition Management accounts in the same manner they have in the past. For new families - To login to your Tuition Management account to see current tuition and fees, please access your account through the Resources page in OnCampus. Your account will be accessible after you enroll your student and pay the required deposit.
  • 4) When do I pay my enrollment deposit?

Enrollment deposits are paid at the time the first parent signs the enrollment contract through Tuition Management.
  • 5) Will I be able to elect to prepay tuition for the upcoming school year to receive a 2% discount on tuition?

Yes, but you will need to login to your Tuition Management account once you enroll your student and no later than the date specified in your enrollment contract (14 days after submission of the enrollment contract) to pay the tuition in full in order to receive the discount. You will also need to select the single installment payment method when you complete the enrollment contract.

Discounts will be applied after you pay your tuition, creating a credit balance that can be applied to additional charges beginning in July. All enrollment deposits must be paid at the time of completion of the enrollment contract, so you will need to deduct the enrollment deposit from your prepayment of tuition when that is paid.

If you do not prepay the tuition by logging into Tuition Management after completing the enrollment contract and prior to the due date, your account will default to a one installment bill in July (first billing month after enrollment) and no discount will be applied. Note: for current families, you must "Switch to another Session Year" on your Tuition Management account and choose 2024-2025.

    • Change/edit your payment information
    • Update your personal information
    • View and print invoices (if you are not on automatic debit)
    • See an itemized breakdown of tuition, fees and discounts billed to your account
  • 11) Is it possible to pay tuition by one method and other fees and charges through another method?

Tuition Management requires an automated payment method by ACH from your bank account or by credit card. All charges applied to your account will be applied to your chosen payment method on the due date. A workaround for this is to log into your Tuition Management account no later than 2 days prior to the 22nd of the month in order to make a one-time payment by a different method or mail a check to Tuition Management in time for receipt before the cutoff. Tuition Management will only apply balances unpaid on the due date to the selected payment method.
  • 12) What credit cards does Tuition Management accept?

Tuition Management can accept VISA™, MasterCard™, American Express™, and Discover™ credit and debit cards. Please note that a credit/debit card usage fee will apply. You can use your credit card to make monthly recurring payments. A convenience fee of 3.12% applies to all credit card and debit card transactions. VISA Checkout™ virtual wallet is also available.
  • 13) What if I do not want to pay the convenience fee to use a credit card?

Payments made directly from your bank account through an ACH or your bank’s bill pay service are free alternative payment methods for those who do not want to incur convenience fees for credit card payments.
  • 14) Can I pay by check?

Tuition Management does require that all families who are not prepaying tuition by one installment to have an automatic payment method of credit card or bank account ACH set up to cover tuition and other fees billed. If you would like to use your checking account to pay, you can do this by making a one-time payment online, calling in a payment by phone to the following number for Tuition Management (888) 868-8828, or by setting up automatic monthly payments directly from your checking or savings account. Mailing a check is an option as long as the check is mailed in time to be received and posted by  the monthly cutoff for processing of your monthly ACH from your bank account or credit card payment that you have set up. If you are mailing a check, please mail it to Tuition Management at PO BOX 11731, Newark, NJ 07101-4731. Please remember to include your Family ID.
  • 15) Can I pay using my bank’s online bill pay service?

Yes, you can utilize your bank’s online bill pay service to send payments to Tuition Management. Please note: Online bill pay might not electronically transfer funds to Tuition Management; instead, your bank may mail a paper check to Tuition Management. We advise you to set up your online bill pay to occur at least 10-12 days prior to your due date to ensure the check is received and processed before the scheduled due date. Also, note that since an electronic payment method is required for all two installments and monthly installment payers, your established automatic payment method will be charged unless a check mailed ahead of the due date is received and processed prior to the automatic payment on the 22nd.
  • 16) Why is my monthly amount different each month?

Your total due may change month to month due to Johnson Academic Center fees, FLIK fees, technology fees, Fury Café charges, Fury Ltd charges, other fees, other incidental charges and adjustments that have been made by FCDS.
  • 17) What if I think an amount on my bill is incorrect?

If you disagree with any of the amounts on your bill, please call or email Renee Foust at (336) 946-1624 or reneefoust@fcds.org.
  • 18) My tuition is due in two days. What is the quickest way to make a payment?

Tuition Management offers two immediate payment options including:
    • Pay online by logging into your Tuition Management account through Resources in OnCampus
    • Pay over the phone by calling (888) 868-8828
Note: Payments made by phone and web are posted the same day they are received.
  • 19) What is my school’s late payment policy?

Payments are due on or before the 22nd of the month. If your payment is not made by your due date, or you are carrying an outstanding balance, the school assesses a late fee equal to 1.5% of the outstanding balance. Tuition Management will remind you by email of your upcoming payment to help you pay on time.
  • 20) Are there bank fees associated with payments that are not successful?

A fee of $30 will be applied to your account for any failed payment processed via auto-debit, phone, web or failed check payments. Your bank may also impose additional fees. Any missed automatic payments due to NSF will be reattempted only once after 10 days. In the event that the reattempt fails again, a second NSF charge will apply. A manual payment by phone, mail or electronically through your Tuition Management account will need to be made for that missed payment. Automated payments will resume the following month, but only for the amounts billed in that month excluding prior past due billings.
  • 21) How can I set up new banking information to pay automatically each month?

Changes to banking information MUST be made at least three business days before your next scheduled debit. You can update your banking or recurring credit/debit card information by logging in to your account through OnCampus - My Profile > Payment Information > Update - or you can call Tuition Management directly at (888) 868-8828.
